I often find some people have very specific ways of working with crystals, which is great, but I personally find the whole process to be organic.

Each crystals is different as is each person you encounter and what might work on one person an hour ago wont necessarily work on the next person right now.

Without conscious direction I find I choose stones, bracelets, jewellery etc to wear for the day and sometimes they will stay on for months and other times I remove them within hours.

Often I get impressions of how to use a stone or crystal, which come as split second images in my mind or I hold a crystal and my thumb automatically slides along its side as if turning it on.

Are you a stone wearer, a stone placer or a stone handler?

Do you have a trusted favourite that is your healing tool of choice, or do you swap depending on who approaches you? Are there different ways you use your stoens/crystals or do you have a trusted method that works for you and your clients?

After experiencing the different energies of most of my crystals, as well as reading the references, ( I really enjoy the way Judy Hall presents her work), I find if I am out of sorts or need balancing I wear a stone I have found is harmonious with that state, Its almost as if the particular stones vibrations fill a gap or prop up the body's vibrations, if it (the body) is not functioning optimally. Sometimes I pick ones I know have worked before and sometimes I go to my collection and intuitively choose. For me the correct crystal sets a signature to regain health or balance, I quickly know if i have put on the wrong crystal, just by the feeling of it. I have made a few necklaces that work for me for stock standard illness, like flourite, aquamarine, and blue lace agate. I'm interested in the moment about how the form of the crystal affects healing, particulary, crystals in a spherical shape i.e. beads. Also this year, I have been utalising crystal earings, because that is a completely different feel, maybe because its closer to the head, i.e Pietersite and Moonstone earings for PMS. So, by trial and error, I have found what works for me, by feeling the compatability. It will be interesting to read how the healers work with their crystals for clients. I see a strong coalation between the healing form of Homeopathy and Crystals and Crystal essences. This year, I aim to experiment with Gem essences as a healing modem for myself.

I have picked up on a way of healing that I found online. I healed myself from taking any proscribed medications for depression, and mental disorders.
I started out with Sunstone which is practically my god now ha ha... Which I treat with a special respect, and only call on for particular ones to wear.
I make bracelets now. I wore my gemstones and was attempting to help a friend and all she wanted was jewelry I couldn't get friends interested in wearing stones the ways I had. I picked up making bracelets. I just sent several off to three of my friends. I have some bracelets made up for one more friend which will be in the mail to her tomorrow. I started sending some bracelets out almost four months ago. I have heard back and noticed great improvements in their lives for which I am extremely thankful.
I start off by clearing my stone, I do not program stones feeling they will work where most needed at first and then on. I wear and suggest others wear the particular stones for 3-4 months clearing from time to time to clear the negative energies that have been picked up away. I also suggest writing the date on the calendar so one will know when one started wearing the stones. I've noticed that wearing a particular stone longer than 4 months have had a negative affect, It seems the situation starts to return that I didn't want in the first place and was trying to get to go away. This might only be my experience I will pick the same stone up after wearing and time has gone by put it back on with no problem except for carnelian. Now carnelian is another situation. I found that wearing carnelian helped with not clearing ones stone every week while wearing it for healing. So I started adding carnelian to every bracelet and I wore a piece of carnelian for a long time maybe a year or longer. I stopped wearing stones all together for a month maybe longer. Then I put a different piece of carnelian in my pocket for reasons unknown to me. It wasn't a week that went by and I started getting negative emotions toward people. I did not like that feeling and took the carnelian off the negative feelings went away I put the old faithful stone I had been wearing on and the negative feelings came back within the week. So I now shy away from carnelian which is unfortunate it's a good stone. that is my story I hope to hear your thoughts....

I am a stone wearer, although I'm branching out at this time and do not know where I'll go. In the past I've found to wear a stone consistently for three Usually four months worked best for me. I healed a major problem that way.

I hear emeralds are not to be worn everyday
only wear on days they are desired.

It's Spring here in the US of A, and in Australia I imagine it's fall.

Ohh what a topic.

I am a stone wearer. pendants and more. yes i have heaps. but do wear them. bracelets etc.

I love the touchstone flat styled ones. i lay these on myself, patrick, or whoever i am working on.

I send energy..ie picture of loved one or their name and grid with crystals or a pyramid. or simply a prayer and name and rock..and know they are held in the loving hands of creator/universe.

I grid the house yard with local red jaspers that pop up. Milk quartz that is coming out all over..or black ones that come off the beach an hour away.whatever i find on bushwalks. there are some in a bowl outside. when it has rained Bandit always drinks from this..there are minerals tht come into water he may need..?

I carry them in my pocket or purse. Earings i hav e tobe careful.. always wear them but noticed i really shouldnt wear moldavite for more than a few days.. head goes nuts..

i play with them whilst watching tv. zone in and breathe.they are in my car a few only. and in the home all over. patrick will be out on the tractor will spot something and hold it for me..so have got the men well trained..anyway its all good. great post. thanks. barbara

I took up removing from my home, and putting into plastic all but my favorite, and those that are calming, & grounding. I removed metals from my bedroom. I take most of my stones (other than my hematoid and black tourmaline) off. I add calming, grounding ones in the afternoon getting ready for sleep that night. I stopped wearing as many as I was. I found I was regressing on what I had healed. I wear only a few during the day. One bracelet for stress/tension (beryl, all the colors), my black tourmaline for protection, and hematoid for my sciatica. I wear my blue tourmaline and septarian also in case anyone comes to the door. I'm really into protecting myself. One might feel it silly. But I don't.
I have black jasper, and a few that are for healing that I haven't wore in the past. I'm looking into those that I have worn sense I had the experience with regression.

So long as energy is moving and that is all but guaranteed, nothing will ever be permanent... I guess until we master our own energy and what we need and dont... we will always excel then regress until we realise we never needed it anyway.

I think life is set up like this in order that we keep on expanding. All of our unique perspectives and struggles to be more of who we really are create so much more of an amazing reality to play in... Life has never been better and never been worse. I think as duality becomes blatantly obvious and obvious to all (you cant be ignorant too easily these days) consciously choosing what you want to focus on becomes more of a priority with so much information around you to choose from, you just get lost if you dont commit to what you love.

I think we really have been moving towards this the whole time and now we are shaking out the last of it. The stones were here before us, they hold the codes of creation before we got so dual we forgot. I do believe we call on the stones more so when we ourselves are deep in duality and have lost touch with ourselves and our natural environment. If ever I am so far in my own crazy reality, I can wear 10 or more stones to bring me back. Consciousness negates the need for crystals for in full presence of the life that flows through everything - you realise you are the crystal and the expansion takes place. Until we get this, I personally will continue to love my rocks for the sheer joy they bring, as well as all the other blessings that flow through them. I am an unconscious crystal lover ; )

I do have to question you on one point. In my life I do not see how life is for the worse in anything I look at.

Let me see if I am with you - 1.30am and my brain is starting to shut down LOL.

'In my life, I do not see how life is for the worse in anything I look at.' I guess that is a blessing for you - lucky girl... I know that most people, myself included struggle with a belief in a perception of something being worse than another thing. We want for more because what we have is not enough, not that over there, lacking in some way... or we are worse off than the dream in our minds... If you can move through this world without this feeling, you are enlightened - filled with the light of life flowing through you that knows you are here to play amongst it... I am still in the game... and can see both sides, usually more clearly for standing on one side LOL - have I answered your question?? or missed it completely??
